Pastoring

Senior Pastor, Vernon Park Church of God, Chicago, IL (since 1999). The church has grown to more than 1200 members under his leadership.

 

Youth Ministry

USA Director, “Compassion International”, Oversaw and managed develop ministry to American youth including, urban cities, the rural south and Native American Reservations including the Navaho, Zuni, and Hopi Reservations in Arizona and New Mexico.; 1992 – 1996.

Program Director, Street Smart, urban youth development,

Coordinator, mentor and facilitator for Common Ground Denver, education and mentoring programs among youth, schools, and churches. .Denver, CO; 1990 – 1992. Youth Director, Sound of Praise Church, Chicago, IL; 1979 – 1985.

Vice President, Youth Ambassadors for Christ, Ferris State University, Great Rapids, MI; 1976 -1977

Youth Director, Calvary Baptist Church – Chicago, IL; 1978 -79.

Jail counselor to inmates in Cook County Jail, Chicago, IL; 1977 – 1984.
